Interesting conversations going on at the TBD board in DC recently that began with Capital Escorts in DC shutting down its doors for poor business. I was impressed with the operators humbleness in sharing his reasons. Quite “capital” of him! Okay, I took the line from a movie but its true. I am impressed. I probably would’ve just shut the door and said goodbye to the hassles and been done with it.

FANTASYS: Agreed there-almost! (I’ll elaborate more on the LAST LINE later). It isn’t indicative of the entire marketplace because over here we keep our ear to the ground coast to coast as well as in the UK and Canada. It’s merely “pinpoint slumps” that are actually being effected by our greedy corrupt politicians that have a “short term” (4 years…) vested interest in absolute profit-at any cost.
I run out of girls in every State I operate in-5 days a week (the actual days we focus upon to work at Fantasys)-day in and day out plus, I SCREEN WITH A MAGNIFYING GLASS which supposedly scares guys off. Untrue of course. For Us. It’s entirely dependent upon your “Target Audience”. “T.A.” is the specific that is missing from everyones musings above and Lee lightly touched upon it. Exactly WHAT “target audience” is feeling the crunch? Easy. Bear in mind that it isn’t always economics, nor recent law enforcement activity, natural disasters, etc that effects a market. It’s a variety of predictable factors *given the audience that they happen to cater to”.* Makes sense in that vein…
* * Whats also missing * * is making the human mistake that an area or a certain groups opinion/experience represents/reflects the ENTIRE marketplace when indeed and in fact it never can. (leave that to the ding dongs running for public office!). It cannot and will not because our opinions and experiences can ONLY represent what is Known To Us-individually. How can we reasonably presume to know everyones? We can’t of course, unless we’re an arrogant fool with an extremely limited point of view. As bright as we may be, as varied as our individual inexperiences are, as many different “shoes” we’ve all worn in life, we still cannot REALISTICALLY say that even our direct experiences or observations or evaluations accurately represent the truth for all groups. It just happens to be an individuals belief system. Truthfully spoken from their point of view. Makes sense Realistically and Economically.
If I can possibly NOT offend anyone with this astute observation I’ll try to simplify it further from my 26 years in Every Aspect of the adult entertainment industry from the streets to the parlors, agencies, incalls, outcalls, brownstones, farms, phones, bookings, screenings, advertising, marketing-you name it-in about 18 States by the way. Screening for example. Anytime I hear that screening kills your business I MUST look at the providor FIRST and assess it-as a business man. Target audience? If you haven’t correctly hit your target audience (same social class that can relate to you and therefor trust in your word/history)…we CANNOT convey what we do not possess if we attempted to target an audience that we were really just vainly grasping for. “Business is SLOW.” Again, who is their target audience? Blue collar Americans being the backbone of the workforce are easy to predict for obvious reasons. Between the gasoline prices and the proliferation of corporations running to Third World Countries to operate in they are always going to be effected by ANYTHING that is in the “$25.00-$225.00″ range. You won’t be seeing many gameboys being sold at Walmart this month by the way…the godawful A.M.P.’s will always do well enough regardless of who is controlling the percentage points on Wall Street simply because they exploit a work force that doesn’t have a voice (mostly illegal immigrants and dumbass American pill heads)and they’ll drop their prices to re-stimulate activity if it goes down. Blue collar Americans are possibly the most exploited social class in America today. Isn’t the majority of our voting public made up by Them? Yes it is and those poor folks are always so damn close to “barely getting by” with their mediocre incomes supporting an entire families lifestyle (and the most taxed) that its intolerable. They’ll vote anyone into office that offers some hope. But aren’t these local agencies and indies going out of business catering to the blue collar class whether by design or social niche consciousness? The hardest hit ones of all? Of course they are. Realistically and unemotionally have a look at their prices and the overall “message” their websites project. Who are they going to appeal to? Those niches definitely are being hit. Agencies/Indies alike for obvious reasons. But, it isn’t indicative of the entire marketplace by a long shot.
Lee was being uncharacteristically “kind” by giving some of the locals their “props” because they are in a different target audience. Feigning humility at this point in the game dude?LOL! MIND THAT I DID NOT SAY HIGHER OR BETTER, merely Different. The prices are substantially different. His overall “message” appeals to an entirely different consciousness altogether. His business isn’t experiencing the same results as these others, and its for predictable reasons. Target audience plus the particular audience that HE appeals to personally and professionally.
As humbly as I can share the truth: historically speaking-whenever an area has been hit hard by stings, “slumps” etc, in the recent past we ALWAYS ran in, “set up shop”, bought the prerequisite advertising, hit every message board that would have us, made “buy out offers” to the remaining Agencies (with the no compete clause of course) and employment offers to the “surviving independents” to come work under our banner at Fantasys. And it worked WELL for us financially. A recognized name coast to coast for over 20 years helps tremendously. The remaining local providors (don’t you Screen for Everyones protection/professional accountability?) always freak out first-get scared second, then REALLY panic when business drops off a bit and inevitably fall in line. And we end up with all the business. Because guys wanna get laid! You guys as hobbyists/mongers(?) feel relatively comfortable when you see those familiar girls faces on the sites and IF they were worth seeing again come on over and start doing business with us. Almost everyone is happy. Our higher prices always bring grumbles but in the end it ends up better for everyone concerned because it brings our guarantees with it. And higher standards for safety. Win/Win. And also the NEW FACES. Everyone thats established in the hobby loves a new face. It’s always new faces because We cannot Continue To Offer Our Guarantees when we use local providors because they INEVITABLY fall back into bad habits. And we are forced to dump them to maintain our policies and promises. And the chicks are PISSED! 2bad4u. The EXACT same poor ass habits that ruined everyones fun and business in the first place! Human nature can be a b-tch.
So the last line simply isn’t true. It’s an opinion and belief for you fella. Someone gets busted and OUR BUSINESS goes up because the smart guys recognize that we would not put this much effort into our requirements/screening if they wouldn’t benefit. You’ve obviously used some poor agencies and initially I’m inclined to say I’m sorry for your experiences but in the long run I’m forced to rejoice because it always makes us look so much better and that brings us even more business again because of the rave reviews from the local established hobbyists. Win/Win. Plus, it weeds out the inferior providors in EVER social caste.

To Experience pleasure or to Avoid Pain.” I’ve departmentalized actions, lived through the “7 deadly sins”, identified personalities, recognized behaviors and labeled the various personality types that make up the entire worlds population (i.e. Introverts/Extroverts/Pessimists/Optimists/Left brain/Right brain etc. and finally, there are only about 5-8 Basic Human Emotions to come to terms with anyway. (Fear notwithstanding because its virtually its own category altogether for all of the troubles it causes us humans) THEN, I discerned the the separate Social Classes that exist in the business, THEN, I correctly identified the three Specific areas of the escort business being Providors, Clients and Directory Owners, THEN mastered the Vehicles that “deliver” them: Yahoo, Google and MSN (search engines). THEN assessed their various needs and motivations. This all came after experimenting with various Internet theories as well as noting our results with specific websites and marketing terms and keywords and photos.
Once all of that was completed I set about to provide to the industry EXACTLY what the
industry Percieves It Wanted and assemble the results under one common escort community website.

They’ll simply get old in other words and WE would be the indomitable force Influencing all of the New People coming into the business every day. They’ll replace the old people and directories. These new kids coming into the business will want to know WHERE to Go to learn the “worlds oldest profession” from professionals with a measurable history of success behind them.
